A FAMILY LOVE STORY

Chino Amigos wasn't created in a boardroom or by some marketing company trying to figure out the next food trend.

It was created from family.

I'm Chinese Filipino, and my grandmother was Mexican. Long before people started calling everything "fusion," our family was already living it. We grew up around Filipino parties, Chinese food traditions, Mexican family gatherings, tamales, pancit, adobo, fried rice, backyard cookouts, and a whole lot of people sitting around the same table.

To us, it wasn't fusion. It was just dinner.

One of the biggest influences in my life was my grandfather, a Filipino Navy chef. He spent his life feeding people and taught us that food has a way of bringing everyone together, no matter where they're from. Looking back, that's probably where all of this started.

The truth is, Chino Amigos isn't Chinese food trying to be Mexican food or Mexican food trying to be Chinese food.

It's our family's story on a plate.

It's what happens when generations of Chinese, Filipino, and Mexican culture become part of the same family tree. It's the flavors we grew up eating, the recipes we grew up around, and the traditions that shaped who we are.

You'll see Chinese-inspired fried rice bowls, Mexican flavors we grew up loving, and the kind of food that's made to be shared with friends and family. Nothing forced. Nothing complicated. Just food that reflects who we are.
